The SPCA is immensely proud of its Simpson Spay/Neuter Clinic which provides reduced-cost surgery and vaccinations and has helped to dramatically reduce the pet overpopulation problem in our area.
Recognizing the absolute necessity to cut down on the number of unwanted animals and the cruelty cases that arise from indiscriminate breeding, the SPCA raised funds for over 10 years to finance construction of this clinic.
Perhaps the greatest testament to our success is the fact that the SPCA is no longer filled with unwanted puppies and kittens. We can now focus our attention on older dogs and cats who desperately need homes. A puppy or kitten is cute, but grown dogs and cats have so much to give!
The Simpson Clinic offers reduced-cost spay/neuter procedures for the general public's animals. Through our weekly Wellness days, we also offer the following services: vaccinations, physical exam, fecal exam, parasite control, flea and tick control, Lyme/E. Canis/heartworm testing, feline leukemia/FIV blood testing, microchipping, nail trimming and ear cleaning. All services are by appointment only.
